Vintage Enamel Lotus Blossom Earrings in Sterling Silver

$75.00

These late Art Deco - early Mid-Century sterling silver earrings feature delicate enameled lotus blossom drops in cream, violet-blue, and green. Delicate and light, these earrings are constructed using a technique where enamel was applied over finely raised metalwork and then kiln fired. After the discovery of King Tut’s tomb in 1922, the lotus blossom was a favorite motif in Egyptian Revival design.

The enamel is on both sides of the earrings. One side of one earring has a small area where the enamel has worn off (see photo) but this is not noticeable when earrings are being worn. Over all, these earrings are in great condition!

A Note to Our Customers:  All of our vintage or antique pieces have been loved in a previous life. Because of this, you may notice subtle signs of wear consistent with age, a soft patina, or minor surface marks. These pieces have a lived-in character that comes with time. We take great care to photograph and describe each piece as accurately as possible, and will always note anything significant. These small imperfections are part of what makes each piece unique and are a reflection of its history and the life it has already lived.
