A long and glamorous, 30 inch, mid-century necklace composed of faceted clear crystal glass beads with a subtle aurora borealis finish. Each bead is individually wire-linked with sterling silver, and finished with a spring-ring clasp. The generous length allows the necklace to be worn long or doubled.
Aurora borealis (sometimes referred to as AB) crystal became especially popular in jewelry during the late 1950s and 1960s. The iridescent finish has shifting flashes of blue, pink, violet, and gold, giving clear crystal a subtle rainbow effect.
