This mid-century bracelet features six intricate chrysanthemum flowers molded from celluloid and finished with darkened details that emphasize each individual petal. Each flower is mounted on a gold-tone metal backing with a radiating sunburst texture and connected by articulated links. The black and white flowers contrast beautifully with the bright gold-tone metal. During the mid-century, molded celluloid was used in jewelry making to mimic the look of intricately carved ivory.
